Dexter High School Future Business Leaders of America attended the District 16 Leadership Conference at Southeast Missouri State University on February 7, 2024. Seventeen students and Chapter Adviser, Sharon Guy attended. Two Dexter members were elected to the 24-25 officer team. Isabella Pittman was elected Vice President - Communications, and Marlie Hatton was elected Vice-President - Membership.
Members competed by taking objective tests, creating artifacts on the computer, and delivering presentations on a variety of topics. The following were awarded in the ceremony.

Preston Fitzpatrick earned 1st place in Computer Applications, 2nd place in Accounting, and 3rd place in Business Law. Henley Barrett earned 1st place in Intro to FBLA, and 3rd places in both Accounting and Organizational Leadership. The team of Cy Scott and Luke Gentry earned 1st place for the Business Plan presentation. The International Business team of Kate Churchill and Hailey Northern placed first; Kate also placed first in Personal Finance. In Agribusiness, Marie Fees placed first and Ethan Glaus 5th. Skyler Baird placed 3rd in Computer Applications. Placing 4th were Juan Martinez in Intro to Financial Math and Brooklyn Link (not pictured) in Business Calculations.
