Each year, the fifth grade classes at Central Elementary participate in a musical performance, either at Christmas or in the spring. This year, the classes of Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Lummukka, and Ms. Parsley presented our Christmas musical, Santa's Holiday Hoedown, on Thursday, December 7. In the play, Santa's toy shop is in danger of going bust! No money for materials means no presents, which means no Christmas! The entire toy shop crew goes on the road to Branson, Missouri to raise the needed funds with a down-home country music jamboree.
Our fifth grade Songmakers choir also performed as the "opening act" for the musical. This was their first performance of the year, and they did a great job!
