Central Elementary will observe Red Ribbon Week beginning Monday, October 24. Red Ribbon Week is an annual event observed by communities across the country that helps spread awareness of drug abuse prevention and encourages students to live a drug-free life. Several activities are planned, including dress-up days:
Monday: "Drugs Can't Find Me!" - Wear camouflage to hide from drugs
Tuesday: "Put a Cap on Drugs!" - Wear your favorite hat
Wednesday: "You Are Too Bright for Drugs!" - Wear bright/neon colors
Thursday: "Let's Team Up Against Drugs!" - Wear a team shirt or jersey
Friday: "United We Stand Against Drugs!" - Wear red
